Objectives:
The event was designed to help delegates to understand better the key policy drivers underpinning the drive for closer collaboration between information and intelligence practitioners in local government and the NHS and was to encourage relationship building, joint working, and the identification of priority work programmes across health and local government. The event also provided an opportunity for local practitioners to learn from areas of best practice in terms of the work that is being undertaken in this field and to contribute to discussions around what local practitioners and teams want from a national information and intelligence resource.
Analysis:
The event included a series of presentations and workshops throughout the day with poster exhibitions and exhibition stands also included.
Outcome:
Overall the event went well with over 80 delegates attending for the on day seminar from local authorities, NHS and private organisations.
